The Tasline Speckled braid
has
a blue or a black strand woven into the PE Spectra line, this gives it a speckled look.
This line is good for all general fishing, casting lures, boat or from shore,
covers most fishing. All the Specs are on the Tasline
Page and full specifications in the line testing page. It has good breaking
strain for diameter. Each 2000yd is tested for breaking strain.

These Pullon Leaders are
manufactured with high quality PE hollow core, not the larger lower spec Dacron.
These are castable / windon
leaders, with the "braid pullon" pressure served to the plastic line.
After all the testing I
have done , I have come up with this totally new concept, easily
replacing your leader when out fishing, especially when fishing time is of
essence, no loops to make just pull it on. These keep you fishing.
Put 100mm of your Braid main
line through the loop provided, pull the mainline through the hollow section. Tie the
hollows tag around the mainline with a 8 turn uni. settle in, Then tie themainlines tag end around the hollow with a 8 turn uni pull tight and all
done, 99% strong and no knots to fail.
The end of the Pullon
can be "user" converted into a loop, you can then attach it loop to
loop, or tie it to mono lines. If you want to use these with mono
main lines you need to do the loop conversion, which is simple to
do.Most Leader on the market fail due slip or creep, this will not
happen with "Pressure Served" leaders. The Pullon join method would
have to be the only join that I have seen, that is as strong as the
main line.

The 200/300 BigFish series are
slim windon looped leaders, I have caught all my marlin on the 200 series
leader, it's 1.4mm 200lb, the 300 series is 1.8mm 300lb, this is great
leader material. The leaders are supplied with a suitable crimp for the lure
end.
The 200 and 300 series are made as
loops only. Although I can introduce a step down in the braid and make
these as a Pullon leader, like I have said this Concept has never been done
before, but tests show 100% strength.

shocker for game fishing, allows for smaller reels to be used with braid

Bimini Loop & Pressure serve tools by Paulus
If you are joining braid to heavy leaders
like 20 lb to 70 lb then it pays to use a double in your braid (two legs) to
spread the load over a wider area, and a well tied Bimini is the quickest and
one of the best.
Braid ties to a terminal poorly. Generally
every one uses a leader at the end of the braid, then that is tied to a
terminal.
Terminate your braid to a terminal, Make a Bimini twist loop and then tie the
two legs of the loop to the terminal.
Most of the Bimini's sent in for testing, have failed early, like a 33 lb test
braid the bimini failing at 19 lb and less.
This Bimini Twist Tool makes it easy to do, a 50 turn Bimini in less than a
minute.
This will help you with the strengths of
your braid to leader knots, as two legs tied are stronger than one.
To make a 50 turn Bimini in less that a
minute, after you do the turns, just tie the main line off on the two
pegs, hold the tag end, slide the twister post, tie off the tag end to hold the
twist, and a reverse clinch to finish. Comes with a two page pictorial on

When fishing with braid the
leader material you choose should generally be a little softer rather than
harder / stiffer. Softer lines can be used shorter, form knots better, make
better shockers, reducing hook pulls, and braid to leader failures. This leader
is good for all your general fishing, casting lures, whether on a boat or off
the shore. I also have lines listed as they
meet IGFA breaking strains, these are lines you can rely on. The lines full
specifications is in the line testing mono / Leader page in the menu. Softer
lines generally have slightly bigger diameters for breaking strains. Each line
has been tested, bs is given with each spool.
Leader Material & line, Varying Brands These are lines that I have on hand, all
pre-tested Great range of varying breaking strains and
lengths
Lines I recommend, Momoi & IGFA. Line suitable for Leaders &
Topshotting.
The Woodstock braid is a very nice braid, strands are made
